Please Help!!!

Fellow beauty bloggers...I have a dilemna! My mummy's birthday is in less than a week and I still have NO IDEA what to get her. She loves high-end cosmetics like Chanel, Lancome, Clinique, blah blah blah, but all I could think of getting her was this:

YSL Touche Eclat
I need ideas (and I'm not on a budget)...My mom is almost in her mid-fifties, but she looks mid-forties if you ask me. She already owns some quality makeup in neutral/berry tones. I thought about getting her a voucher for a day spa, but she works harder than most parents, so she may not have the time to go...she's a single mom with a lot of spirit and spunk, so I want to give her something that will make her look, therefore feel young again, even if it's just for five minutes!

What gifts have you guys given to your mothers that they absolutely loved and still use? PLEASE TELL MEEEEEEEEE!!! I love my mom and I want to give her something she will use and like without me having to ask her...All ideas are welcome, even if they're not makeup related. I love hearing what you ladies have to say!

Arigatooo~!

hey A

i have been debating on getting the YSL skin brightner thing...after i saw a demo on QVC i was like WOW...but 40 bucks is expensive for that stick!...if you wanna wow yur momma try la mer products it;s geared towards mature woman...and their makeup line is great...la prarie is awesome to if your NOT on a budget...or you can get her something from chanel...sometimes they have great gifts...but like i said the YSL...is a very good choice..and perhaps get her some blush from chanel or a lip gloss...OR even nail polish

MOMS ARE SOOOOOO HARD TO SHOP FOR!!!

Chanel has a really nice palette out this season - you can see it on Neiman's website. It's got blush, eye shadow, and lip colors - for I think $85. There are a few colors to choose from too! =) Happy Bday to your Mom!

Aya! Get the coastal scents palette, not the Ben Nye. It's a lot more shadows for your buck and they are just as good, if not better. I have *barely* used my Ben Nye. They are not my favorites at all. :( Not to say they suck, they're just OK, I think...

It's hard to shop for my mom, but the gifts she enjoys are gift certificates.

My mommy always likes trinkets and clothing instead of makeup. Last year I got her a locket with me and her in it. :D

i usually just give my mom money or gift cards so that she can just pick out whatever she wants. i've never really been good at picking out gifts for people so i just take the easy way out and do the gift cards lol. i know it's not as personal as giving an actual gift but like i said i'm not that good at picking out gifts lol.

I second La Mer. I don't know if your mom has tried it before, but just the price tag alone makes people seem to love it, haha. My mom's more of the purse person, so she's always loved getting purses.
