Bike Night

My boyfriend recently traded in his Ninja for a GSX-R1000 (Suzuki). He's been working on the aesthetics over the last few weeks, and it looks PIMP! After my boyfriend sanded the bike down and painted it a matte gray, he had this guy who used to work at Art Factory do the vinyl design on the body..FYI Art Factory is pretty famous world-wide, and there's only ONE shop in Japan, and fortunate for my boyfriend, we don't live too far from it. They do graphics (paint and vinyl) on car body kits....You've ALL seen their work on many of the cars in the first Fast and the Furious movie. One of the guys from Art Factory set up shop and now does bike graphics. Check out Art Factory HERE. Check out AFG Moto, where my boyfriend got his bike done HERE.

Before: Everything STOCK
After: PIMP

Two Saturdays ago, a Bike Night was held in Tachikawa, near where my boyfriend and I live. So I hopped on the back and we rode out to town to hang out with other riders...so here are pics from the night. I apologize for the crappy quality, I took all of them with my iPhone. iPhone takes the SHITTIEST pictures, it's like being back in '02 or somethin'.

The Lineup
My FAVORITE
Oh look, a cute summery basket-bag...
WHOAH! (That's me if you can't tell)
The editor-in-chief or some editing guy from a new riders magazine came out with his photographer and took a lot of pictures, including a few of my boyfriend and I. Everyone was oohing and aahing over the damn thing. I guess the urban camo look is what's hot now in graphics...? I have no idea, but whatever, my boyfriend's bike looks hotttt. An hour or so into the gathering, a few police officers showed up, and we all had to leave. We rode out to another place, closer to home. At this point I was too tired to even crack a smile, so we ducked out early. I'll try to take better pictures at the next Bike Night!

oohh you're bf pimped up bike is really cool!

I think in Japan they love to customize everything, once on the highway me and my bf saw a few trucks that were totally pimped out - we were like in awe! LOL! I have never seen trucks so decked out before haha.

J.Rose: I remember from one of your car-related posts from a while back, you bought your man a MR-2, right? My boyfriend had one for a while...that thing was FAST! We loved it! He misses his 2...I wish I could get him one, maybe someday!

Alien Man: Why thank you! Truth is, I'm just to busy to do a makeup related post...I do not have enough time in my day to make myself look decent enough to take pictures (that we feel compelled to chop and edit anyway..) So I cheat and post about other things that are more convenient :)

Nic Nic: Yes, everyone loves souping up their rides here, I love it! Those trucks you're talking about are awesome! They have rows of bright lights on em too!

Lorie: Yes Ma'am! The pipe is made by a brand called D&D, and they're actually from Texas...they put the flag on all their products. Isn't it great? :)

When I'm rolling in dough, I'm gonna get me one of these! I'm dreaming! I've seen a neon green Ninja around my area I've long had a crush on it.
ps. let me know how you like the mango float when you make some. :)

that's a nice looking bike! my bf wants to get one since the gas prices are ridiculous. i don't think i'll be getting one for myself, but i'm gonna take the class with him so that i'll at least know how to ride one. :D
