Friday Night Fun

I was planning to stay home and have a quiet Friday evening watching movies and updating the blog, but I decided that I needed to get out and hang out with my friends. I don't really like staying out all night anymore, but I rarely get weekends off, so I decided to give in and try to have a good time. I started getting ready at 9:30 p.m. and was out the door at 11:00. I BARELY made the last train to where I needed to be.

I met up with my friends at Gonpachi, a restaurant in Azabu-Juban. It's the same restaurant where the fight scene between Go-Go and Uma Thurman's character had in Kill Bill 1. I ordered vanilla ice-cream with kinako and black sugar syrup as well as yakitori (Japanese kebabs).

We then headed to club Muse. I HATE the crowd there, but it was the only decent club nearby. It's a haven for any woman who wants a washed-up good-for-nothin' English teachin'-scum, who think all Japanese women are easy. I don't dislike English teachers. I just don't like the skanky ones. The place is also a watering hole for the younger foreigners who live here and work at Morgan Stanley/Goldman Sachs/Merrill Lynch/JP Morgan....yeah, makes me feel little!

Anyway, here are pictures from the night...(yes, we're all crammed on a porch swing in da club!)
...and the morning after. There were four random people (including me) taking pictures of this drunk dude. He got a ticket on his shopping bicycle, LOL.
I need better things to do at night...next time, pot luck at MY house! :)

Looks like you had an awesome time!!

It's funny that there is a club that a lot of jet people hang out at to pick up japanese girls. I have a theory that all non-asians who sign up for the jet program have major yellow fever. Probably not a highly disputed theory!! :)

Ooops... I didn't mean to submit that just yet. :)

You look really pretty, too!

And your friends are cute cute.

You look stunning in the pics Aya! It makes such a huge difference when we take close up pics then far away pics, for some reason I always look different in far aways too :s

HAHA @ the drunk guy! In my area, usually cops would of taken that poor drunk to jail. Ticket is so lenient! I want to go to Japan so bad, my folks went and said it's breath taking compared to the states!

Christy: Thanks sweetie :)

Jie-Jie: Sure, but for now, I have semi-close-ups in one of my posts...it's in the 'Lists' category.

Lurve: I like to think of myself as a monet. Thank you though! I was sooo tempted to wake the drunk guy and then take another pic, but he may have tried to kill me. Lots of scary killing sprees in Tokyo lately...

fuzkittie: Yes, I love Dior lippies, want to try some of their glosses...they look fab-u on you! REally sparkly!

Yummy411: Hmmm...I don't think I've ever been to a place like that...but I think a lot of the clubs and bars near military bases are like that, LOL. BTW, your babyyum (kid) is too cute for words!

Nic Nic: The restaurant is called Gonpachi, and there are several in Tokyo. You should go to the one in Azabu Juban, near Roppongi. I'll take you sometime!

Tammy: Do you have wild Roppongi stories you'd like to share? LOL

Emilee: Why thank you. I tried to copy some of your smokey looks, but it always ends up looking tooo dramatic.

Lani: Girl, if you've been through childbirth, I think a tattoo would be NOTHING in comparison...lol.

L: It was fun, and I think you would like that restaurant. The food is amazing. We should go sometime :)
